Excellent service, flower arrangement delivered on time beautiful display recipient over the moon. Pam's flowers highly recommended, Thanks

I recently received a beautiful hand tied bouquet from Pams Florist. The flowers were arranged beautifully and the quality of the flowers were absolutely superb, it is now 2 weeks after receiving the bouquet and the flowers are still thriving, I simply cannot believe they almost look the same as the day they were delivered. I highly recommend Pam's Florist. Many thanks, Linda Donaghey

Shellies Flowers

8 Arden Oak Rd, Birmingham B26 3LX, UK – 0121 743 3021

Had funeral flowers for my dad’s funeral- we had a coffin spray, a dad arrangement and a heart cushion. The bouquets were full and fresh, arranged beautifully and looked amazing. Shelly was lovely when we went to see her in the shop to discuss our flowers. Would definitely recommend and use her again!!!

I have always used Shellies Flowers, she is so lovely, empathetic and understanding and they all put their heart and soul into making their floral tributes so beautiful, I for one won't go anywhere else....

Fleur-de-lis

25 High St, Solihull B91 3SJ, UK – 0121 694 5545

Brilliant store. Have ordered for home delivery a few times and also do custom orders to suit any price. Would recommend a visit if you're nearby!

Ordered some flowers to be delivered on the same day (and within three hours) to the hospital my dad was staying at following a surgery. The flowers arrived within ninety minutes and were waiting for my dad when he returned from the recovery room. He loved them, and I was so pleased with the speedy service. It was a little pricy, but with the kind of efficiency shown, it was absolutely worth it and reasonable. 5/5 would recommend to anyone needing a florist!

Tips - Caring for your flowers once they are delivered

Placing your flowers in vase half to two thirds full with lukewarm water, will help closed buds to start opening.

  • Be careful when un-wrapping a hand-tied bouquet as it is delivered in a water bubble to keep the flowers fresh.
  • Arranging your flowers in cold water should be avoided as this can reduce the their life in the vase.
  • Avoid puting flowers in metal or aluminium containers - glass is ideal. Keep your flowers in a cool location, away from draughts, direct heat or sunlight. Arrange once unwrapped
  • Your flowers may take up to 24 hours after being placed in water to reach their full potential.
  • Strip off all excess foliage and leaves below the water level to reduce any harmful bacteria within the water.
  • Bacteria can block the stem and stop the flowers taking up the water.unwrap. Flowers like their stems trimmed. So, trim them, at an angle with a knife (rather than scissors) by an inch or so. When trimming stems, always cut at an angle of roughly 45degrees; this increases the surface area allowing your flowers to absorb more water.
  • If a Rose starts to droop at the head, re-cut the stem, wrap the head in paper to support it upright and plunge 5cms of the stem into boiling water for about 30seconds. Cut the stem again and place in deep cold water for two hours.trim

Most orders are accompanied by a sachet of cut flower food which will encourage buds to open and help to prolong the life and beauty of your flowers. Top up regularly with water and flower food, removing any fading flowers. Ensure the floristry foam used in arrangements is moist and topped up daily; this helps to prolong the life and vibrancy of your arrangements.
