Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Solihull

Longfellows Restaurant

255 Hampton Ln, Catherine-de-Barnes, Solihull B91 2TJ, UK – 0121 705 0547

Fantastic food at realistic prices. But there's no children's menu available, which made it slightly awkward when attending a family celebration. In their defence, we were offered a 'child's meal', but I don't think it was on par with the adults meals.

Lovely place food was superb and a very reasonable price to will definitely be going back again

Panchuli Restaurant

165 High St, Solihull B91 3ST, UK – 0121 709 3177

Lovely food but they tried to overcharge us, not once but twice with the same meal. We arrived late in the evening after a few drinks elsewhere but unfortunately for them we were still in full control of our faculties to know we were being ripped off. When we questioned it the waiters started shouting to each other in another language (clearly about us) which we found rude and could have found very intimidating. When we made manager aware of the mistakes he never apologised so I assume it is policy to try and overcharge and hope to get away with. Real shame because the food is lovely but the waiters are very arrogant and rude. Will not return and urge others to avoid.

Maz's Indian Cooking. Maz offers a great Indian cookery class. Three hours of fascinating education culminating in samples of the dishes cooked and a good doggie bag. Highly recommended. Haven't tried the restaurant yet but I'll be back...

Coast to Coast American Restaurant Solihull

44 High St, Solihull B91 3GJ, UK – 0121 709 4562

Love love love this place. Staff are all excellent very friendly and helpful. Food is fabulous. Just enjoyed an amazing casterbridge steak. Always happy to come and eat here. Great setting and atmosphere. 5 stars all the way

The food was ok. Just ok. We went using a tastecard, if we didn't have a tastecard it would not have been worth it in my opinion. It felt like glorified pub grub. The service was good for a Saturday evening. Staff are nice and attentive.
